The past couple days..

Helping Dada in the garage....

Getting a drink of water all by himself... (He's growing up too fast!)



And having fun working a puzzle at the library...

Jackson loves helping Momma with dinner. I taught him how to get all the seeds out of the peppers and he went to town. He did better than me! And yes, I know his feet are right there with the food. Who cares right? It's a learning experience. =)



And a cartoon break. The new thing is "Pat Pat", which is Sponge Bob. LOL




We had our friend Scarlet over yesterday and they played like there was no tomorrow! Jackson had a complete meltdown when she had to leave. =(

Snow Day?

We had such a nice day. It was so warm we headed out to the park to feed the starving ducks and to play on the "weeee". Then we came home and Jackson and I built the most pitiful snowman ever, although he had more fun destroying it than building it! LOL

Day at the Dentist

Today was Jackson's first dentist visit. He did GREAT! I was so worried he would fight them, but he loved it (so much so that he threw a fit when we left and fell on the sidewalk and scraped his hand). He of course had no cavities. LOL He still has four molars that will be coming in and he is learning to brush his teeth and floss. Unfortunately his front teeth are so crowded that we will probably be looking at braces later on when his permanent teeth have come in.

Cool Dude

Trying to put his own sunglasses on. Jackson's become very independent. Everything he sees us do he yells, "I TRY!"

Jason's reading him a story, but he insisted on laying in his bed to hear it. =)

Jackson and I share the same Super Bowl excitement.

Corn!

Jackson loves corn and I *think* this is his first corn on the cob. He loved it! And the smiley one was just cute. He was watching cartoons.

Oh, and see the bruises on his head? That's from knocking himself in the head with the toy hammer when he was getting really into it!

I leave him with Daddy and come home to.....

pictures of Cookie Face!!! LOL Jackson helped me make Valentine's Day cookies today. By help I mean eat all of the sprinkles instead of putting them on the cookies. LOL And we are making progress with the colors. Just watch!

2/1 - 2/4

I'm getting behind!!! I am happy to say that I made it through the month of January though. One month down, 11 to go. Good thing this one is a short one!



Of course all of my holiday decorations are long gone, but I haven't had the heart to put these little houses up. They are older than the hills, but Jackson loves standing up in his chair and looking at them. He will tell me what color they are, what they have on them, and if they are dark or light (the lights are on or off).



He was NOT planning on taking a nap, but Momma had a splitting headache and notified him that, yes, he was taking a nap. A few lullabies and pats on the back and he was out like a light. Of course it was in our bed, but at least we BOTH got some rest.



In the middle of a challenging game of hide and seek. When hiding he was ducked down behind the stool.
